Was subject of a hit and run (or at least "leave no note") by this driver, who backed into me leaving a sizable dent and a broken license plate frame. Luckily, it was caught on dashcam and police report is underway.

was told by the police it's a moot point. filing a report will be on my carfax record. damage is less than state and insurance companies require. so, basically, she gets off with no penalty.. it's just really annoying that someone can hit your car, know they did it, yet not have any repercussions.
