Happens to me all the time. I used to commute to 12 miles to work and it would happen sometimes 2-3 times a day, and they don't care. Bikers simply have to be super vigilant, especially when going through intersections. I added big, bright, purple LED lights to my mirrors, which cut it down a bit. I also have a helmet cam so I can turn damning footage in to the police. Not that the police care most of the time, but if he got hurt, at least you could prove the other drive was at fault.
You should add a location to this, and a video if there is any footage.
This person pulled out in front of my husband while he was on his MOTORCYCLE!!!! The driver was also bobbing and weaving through traffic. If I knew who it was, I would make a formal complaint with the police department.
