The reason is because the length of the parking space is to short, these homes were built in the 1950's in my area, the next door neighbor and my driveway are to close together therefore you cannot fit a full sized vehicle in this parking space, there are times when i seen them trying to park a full sized vehicle and its protruding way over the curb cut, I than tell them nicely to back it up, they give me the answer, well if i back it up I'll be in the other persons driveway, I reply, I guess your vehicle is to big fit in this parking space you'll have to park some where else, than they leave. It doesn't happen often because my guess is the people are used to it and by now.

Thanks for your response, I fully understand what you are saying and this is why I try not to have them towed, but if they completely block my driveway I will have no choice but to have them removed/towed, I have cameras to video my home 24/7, I also take still pictures of the person once i play back the video, I run their licensee plate, if a person tries to take any kind of revenge to damage my property there will be severe repercussions, I haven't had this type of situation because I try to keep myself level headed as I don't want anyone to get hurt over a blocked driveway, this world has enough trouble as it is.

With that many tickets, hopefully the next time the police give a ticket, they will call for an impound tow to the police impound yard instead of a simple tow to the towing company's storage parking lot.
In my county, the cities and county sheriff are fed up with people who didn't pay their parking tickets. So they got all the major city councils to pass the same copycat law that people who don't pay their car-related tickets longer than six months will have their cars towed to the official impound yard. To get the car out, all outstanding fines must first be paid.
With that many tickets, hopefully the next time the police give a ticket, they will call for an impound tow to the police impound yard instead of a simple tow to the towing company's storage parking lot.

Well the Fucker got the ticket and lucky for him I did not call to get his vehicle towed, his license plate along with all the other assholes that blocked my driveway are recorded in my data base, all repeat offenders WILL BE TOWED!.

Another person blocking my driveway once again, Saturday 11/06/2021, If you run this plate number this person has over 28 tickets with a price tag of over $1,830.00, just entered the information on the 311 App, this vehicle is a Lexus SUV GX470, once this person gets ticketed I can call to get it removed, the whole driveway isn't completely blocked but I might have a hard time because my neighbors SUV is parked in his driveway. not sure if i should have this persons car towed because it will cost lots of money to get it back. Please suggest an opinion how to handle this situation.

If the person blocking is a regular visitor to the neighborhood, that can be a problem. The next time they visit the neighborhood, they may be seething and looking for the person that had them towed. So whatever you do must be low key on your part due to the revenge nature of criminals. They might even try to falsely accuse you of racism on social media as that is a popular pastime nowadays.

Why would people park to block your driveway in the first place? Is it one of those angular stealth driveways that is hidden behind shrubs? If the entire street edge is paved and has no curb, then people will feel self-entitled to park.
