Heading south on Eastlake and Harvard, about 2pm, October 27, 2017 -- this red Lexus, license AGF3458, decided not to stop behind me at the red light. He swerved around me at the last second, barely missing me, yelled at me, and drove through the red light, cutting off drivers heading north. Driver was an older guy with grey hair, bald on top, smoking something, probably a cigarette.
Didn't have my phone on at the time, and I was on a motorcycle, feeling nervous, so I kept my cool and just continued on. Happened to catch up to him on 10th, not on purpose, just because of traffic. He continuously sped up and slowed down with no regard for cars around him. At one point he saw me behind him, slowed down to 15 mph, then sped up to 40mph, swerving into the bike lane and driving there for a quarter of a mile. Eventually he took a sharp right turn at 10th/Highland.
I decided not to follow him and to just go home and write down this info while I could remember it. I tried to call the non-emergency line to report him, but after waiting for a bit on hold I just hung up. It seems like the internet is pretty split on whether or not it's even useful to report wreckless driving without video evidence, etc.
Anyway, I hope this asshole driving his lexus learns a lesson someday. Scared the hell out of me and probably many others.
