The other car was probably justified as you let a huge gap appear before starting to move. Speeding up the recording may hide the fact you waited a long time before moving.
People will pass you if you are distracted at a traffic light. It is irritating to be behind a car that lets a huge gap appear before they start moving. People who do that at traffic lights reduce the number of cars that can get thru the light before it changes.
