Just to be clear, this driver never has flashing lights on, which are in the upper corners anywoy. They just block the lane for 10 minutes while they slowly pick up kids from the front of the Salvation Army Daycare.
I said it because it was never just one or two, it was dozens, they blow through red lights and stop signs every damn day, they cut off other cyclists and cars while flipping them off and yelling... they cut in front of big trucks and stop for no reason... I'm a cyclist too, I'm not stereotyping them, this is what I see every single day.
As someone that has driven school bus if I stop with the bike lane on the my door side cyclists will crash right into the children and then flip out on the kids for being there because they can't be bothered to look where they are going or be aware of the world around them or be courteous to anyone else.
The bike lane here, as can be clearly seen in the photo, is on the left side of the bus. NOT in a place where it would cause conflicts with anyone boarding.
As a cyclist myself, we're not that retarded and inconsiderate. Stop stereotyping every cyclist just because one or two happens to be neglectful on the road. That's like me saying the exact same thing about motorists doing in terms of not knowing what they're doing.
Just to be clear, this driver never has flashing lights on, which are in the upper corners anywoy. They just block the lane for 10 minutes while they slowly pick up kids from the front of the Salvation Army Daycare.
This is a repeated action and is not legal.
