A bright red jeep sped down Orange Ave., a quiet residential street, going 50 MPH or more. Loud exhaust pipes. I was on foot, walking into Los Altos Village. Found him at the service station. Girl in RH seat, driver was young blond boy. Looked like high school kids. I talked with the driver, and he got real mouthy. I told him that street has lots of children. He said it was okay to drive like that because the kids weren't out in the morning. Then he started his jeep and burned rubber as he left the service station, speeding and driving in the oncoming lane of traffic.
This driver hiding behind dark-tinted windows disrespectfully pierced two lanes of tight traffic to illegally traverse the quadruple HOV lane barrier only to speed away to better things at 80+ mph.
This driver was on the freeway in an exit only lane. They drove all the way until the lane started to exit and drove onto the shoulder to get into the left lane. This guy cutting off a box truck and almost came really close to getting his car smashed.
This person stopped cars in the middle of the highway to help a hurt deer cross the street. Personally, a heroic act that should be commemorated.
