HEY! Stay in your lane white truck. Get back to LA. Here in TX, we don't appreciate folks who can't pay attention long enough to stay in their lane. Wake up, or take a break.
This guy was driving on Canal and looking down at his phone, going well below the speed limit. I attempted to get around him, but once he realized that's what I was trying to do he sped up. It was early, and in an attempt to let out my frustration I threw up my middle finger at him, thinking he wasn't even going to see me. Really, what's the big deal, right?
As we moved forward to get on the interstate, he stopped on the on ramp to angrily mime at and yell at me, and waited about a minute in the middle of the on ramp just raging before he started driving again. Once we were on the interstate, he slowed down so I would get ahead of him. He then sped up next to me and started swerving, trying to get me to crash or swerve and lose control of my vehicle. I had my three year old daughter in the back seat at the time, and I know he saw her because at one point I tried motioning to her and pleaded for him to stop. He didn't relent and continued to swerve in and out of my lane until I had slowed down to a mere crawl. This went on around 9am, in the middle of morning rush hour traffic, for about 5 minutes.
Then, I remembered I could call 911. Once he saw me pull out my phone he got off at the next exit. The officer I spoke with looked up his plate and verified by physical description that the owner of the car was the man who had tormented me that morning.
I hope to God this man gets his come uppance, he is a dangerous maniac and I am happy to have a place to write this so I can warn others.
she turned left crossing into and over my on coming lane. right in front of me causing a crash. 17 years old and stated she had right of way. Official on site said he didn't know what driving school she went to but she was clearly at fault for failure to yield.
