The driver suddenly changed lane without seeing my car. I had to move to the median to avoid a collision. There was no other car around at that time. I am curious why (s)he picked such a "good" time to cut in front of me.

When the light turned green, the Ford Escape in front of me just sat there, then eventually shifted into reverse and floored it. He stopped just short of smashing into my front bumper, then sped off
