OLD GREEN SUBARU LEGACY.
Male driver. Never checks mirrors turns right out in front of me without looking at all. I barely stopped in time. Then he changes to the left lane and causes the other driver to do the exact same thing. Beware.

This plate was on an undercover cop car, which was a black Ford Edge. The cop put his police lights on without a siren while in traffic heading northbound on West Street just south of where the entrance to the Battery Tunnel is. WHILE DRIVING, albeit slowly, the cop was texting. I was on my motorcycle next to him, and while puttering along at 5 mph I clearly saw him texting, without any obstruction to block my view.
At some point he became bored of traffic and then put his siren on. He created all kinds of confusion while cars, buses, and me on my motorcycle next to him, attempted to get out of the way to let him skip through traffic.
This happened on Tuesday, 9/20/2016, around 9pm Eastern US time.
I can't believe a cop was texting and driving. Not only was he creating a dangerous situation, he was being a complete hypocrite. This same cop could easily pull someone else over for texting while driving, and forget the fact that he too commits this crime.

Silver Kia Sorrento has blue storm lights and blue license plate lights. Speeds up and brake checks everyone. Parked the car on a moving road. Not sure if he was debating on getting out or not? Last seen in Plainview Long Island. Called the cops for reckless driving and illegal lighting.
