Ahole was leaving a gap in front big enough for a full semi or more. When I tried to go around him he sped up to block me. Then he went off to the carpool lane and he was alone with no sticker. Standard pos on the 5 fwy.

So the narrative goes, in short, driver runs off road, hits a tree traveling 80 mph and ultimately stops in a residential front yard. The best part: driver freaks out, runs away from scene leaving his passenger alone and injured. Thank goodness for great local residents! Alcohol involved? I mean, the car is on its side. In a residential front yard. I'm thinking so.

I think it was a female hiding behind the dark tinted windows passing WITHIN the carpool lane, sandwiched between a concrete barrier and the white civic.
